If you encounter problems when printing from Terminal Services e.g. Compliance or Ablyss; there are a few steps you can try before contacting IT Support with the issue.
- Close any applications on the server. Do NOT use the at the top-middle of the screen; this will disconnect you from the server but leave you logged in.
- Instead, click Start > Log Off. You will then be logged off of the server and be back at your Desktop/Internet Explorer.
- Go to Start > Devices and Printers.
- Identify your default printer by looking for the ticked printer.
- You can set a default printer by right-clicking on a printer and selecting Set as Default Printer
- Minimise the Terminal Server session using the button from the blue drop-down panel at the top-middle of the screen.
- Again, go to Start > Devices and Printers
- Double click on your default printer
- Right-click on each job in the queue and select Cancel
