Signing into Onedrive
To sign into OneDrive for the first time follow the bellow steps: Click on the search box and start searching for "onedrive". Once you see the Onedrive app click on the "open" button. You will see a "Set up Onedrive" box pop up, Enter your Excelcare or Guildmore email address and click sign in, enter your regular windows password if prompted. If this is the first time you have logged into Onedrive it will ask to create a folder, press Next for all prompts. In Windows Explorer you will see a Blue Cloud with "Onedrive - ertosunhouse.com" next to it. Everything in this folder is automatically synced up with OneDrive, this will include your Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders.

Accessing OneDrive Online
You can access OneDrive and all your files and folders through the Web on any computer if you need to, You can view, edit and create documents and anything you do on the Web version will sync over to your desktop or laptop when you next log in. Firstly go to www.office.com on your web browser and press the orange "Sign in" button. Sign in with your Excelcare or Guildmore Email address and password. Once signed in click on the Nine Dots on the top left of the page to open all your office apps. You will then see a list of Apps, OneDrive is the app that is a blue cloud icon. Click on the icon and your OneDrive files will open up. You can view, edit and create new files and any changes you make will Sync over to your linked devices.

Recovering Deleted Items
To recover deleted items from OneDrive you will need to access your Onedrive recycle bin (not your windows recycle bin), there are a few ways to do this. You can access the recycle bin by clicking on the Onedrive app (the Blue Cloud icon) and selecting "Recycle Bin". You will also receive a prompt from OneDrive if you delete a file that is synced to it, you can click on the Recycle Bin button to open the bin. By going on OneDrive online through www.office.com and selecting the recycle bin. You will then see a list of all of your deleted files. Once you are in the list you can select one files or multiple files and click "restore" to restore them to their original location. You can see the original location pathway in the list before you restore the files to see where they are going.

How to stop sharing a link or check if it is being shared
To stop sharing a link to a file or just to check if it is being shared or not follow the below steps. Go onto www.office.com and log in with your Excelcare or Guildmore email address and password Click on the nine dots icon on the top left of the page and then select the Blue cloud onedrive icon. You will then see your various Onedrive files and folders, by default your Desktop, Documents and Pictures are saved, you can add more if you wish by clicking the blue "+ New" icon. You will see various options for new folders and file types. Once you are in one drive you will notice and "Sharing" field which will tell you if that file or folder is being shared or private. If it says Private only you have access to it. To stop sharing click on the Shared icon, to open the Manage Access box, you can then click on the blue "stop sharing" button. Once confirmed anybody with the existing link will lose access.

Sharing Files and folders on Onedrive
Sharing files or folders on Onedrive is quick and simple. Firstly sign into onedrive online https://support.ertosunhouse.com/a/solutions/articles/10000074067 You will then see all your files that are available on your Onedrive, including your Desktop, Documents and Pictures and any other folders you have created. Under the sharing tab you will see if they are Private or Shared already, click on the Shared/Private icon to open the manage access box. Click on the "Share" button to to set permissions for the link. By default it will be set to "Anyone with this link can edit" Click on the "Anyone with this link can edit" to add security options to your link. Press "Apply" once you have set your security settings, then press the copy link button. You will then have a link that you can share through email or teams
